The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, VA announces new ServSafe@ Manager classes in Spanish every month through Dec 2018. These classes will be held the last workday of each month starting June 29, 2018 at CIC / office, in the Citizens Commonwealth Center, 300 Preston Ave, Charlottesville, VA. 22903.

There are changes coming in the law for "Certified Food Protection Manager requirement effective July 1, 2018. Under 12VAC5-421-55 of the Virginia Food Regulations, all food establishments, including temporary food establishments (TFEs), are required to have a certified food protection manager no later than July 1, 2018. Certain establishments may be exempt based on their menu and processes".
Our ServSafe@ Manager Food Safety class is a one day (8) hour class with the online exam given at the end of the day. Certificates are available the same day, but must be renewed in five years. Students are asked to bring their own laptop, however one will be provided for you.
