RBCI Announces / 90 day Schedule Nov 2017- Jan 2018

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia would like to announce our schedule of ServSafe@ Manager Food Safety Classes for the next 90 days. Starting in the month of November through January 2018, the following is a list of classes

All  classes have the same format, one day (8hrs) starting at 9 am allowing two hours of testing time at the end of the day. You may register by scrolling to the bottom of this page and following the prompts.

New class schedule for Food Safety Classes

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia wishes to announce two Lynchburg ServSafe@ Certification class per month. That's right our next class in Lynchburg will be at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 3600 Liberty Mountain Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502.

This is still a one day class (8-hrs) with the online exam given at the end of the day, and certificate available the same day. Now is the time to sign up for this course since for many restaurant owners there will be no time before next years July 1st deadline.

ServSafe@ Manager Food Safety Classes scheduled /2017

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia is happy to announce the schedule of monthly classes for the ServSafe@ Manager Certification course for the remainder of the year 2017. There will be one fixed date for class each month, but other classes will be scheduled on a as needed basis throughout the year.

All of the class are taught by our Chef Ralph Brown Sr, he has been teaching these classes for ten years in the Central Virginia area. We have served many local restaurants and many national chains like Five Guys, Chick-fil-A, as well as great hotel chains like Marriott and Hilton brand hotels. Classes are scheduled for: Friday, June 9th & Monday, July 10th; Monday, August 7th, and Monday, September 11th, Monday, October 9th, & Monday, November 13th, and finally Monday, December 18, 2017. The ServSafe@ Class in a one day 8 hour course with the exam and certificate being awarded the same day.

UVa Medical Center ranked #1 / Retail Manager Certified by RBCI

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia wishes to Congratulate the UVA Medical Center for being ranked number one hospital in Virginia.


Also, we "Congratulate Mr James Walker", Retail Manager for completing our ServSafe@ Manager Food Safety Certification Class on Monday, August 9, 2016, and he passed with a high score.

It is because of dedicated employees like Mr Walker that UVa has the  #1 ranking in Virginia.
Mr Walker has worked for the University of Virginia for more than twenty year and has continued to consistently give his very best everyday.

 We are so proud to have been able to serve him and the University community to insure that they are able to "keep food safe" for it's staff, patients, employees, and guests.

ServSafe@ Manager Graduate at Richmond Marriott East.

According to the Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia today Chef Ralph Brown Sr had the pleasure of proctoring the exam for the Senior Restaurant Manager at the Richmond Marriott East, in downtown Richmond, VA. 

The "good news" is she passed and again set the bar just a little bit higher for women in positions of leadership.


This may not seem like much, but according to the National Restaurant Association, " the ServSafe@ Manager Food Safety Program is "the Most Respected Training and Certification Source in the Industry"! So, "congratulations are in order to this Manager"who has met this high bar, a bar  that the Marriott Corporation has always set for it's managers, and the even higher one she set.
