ServSafe@ Manager Certification Class Schedule for 2014

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia, announces ServSafe@ Manager Certification Class schedule for 2014. ServSafe@ classes are scheduled for the second Monday of every month starting Jan 10, 2014. Our class starts at 9:00 AM and continues till 5:00 PM with a final exam which should last an hour.

Our dream got a "wake-up call", but change is good!

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia announces a change in the status of "Chef Ralph's Cherry Ave Grill", it is no more. In order to provide the jobs and job-training we wish for we must now do that through catering opportunities.

We are now working with "Chef Ralph's Personal Chef & Catering Service to provide the same level of training, but just not all in one place. Frankly the cost of that operation was to much, not enough money would go to the students, and Chef Ralph wants to spend more time with his family.

So, we are now excited about the many opportunities we will have in 2014 to provide "Chef Ralph's signature omelette's station experience to you for an early breakfast. Yes, you can call and schedule breakfast for from two to fifty people, "we bring the Chef, the servers, and the food"!

The restaurant opened September 20, 2013 and is operated daily by Chef Ralph Brown Sr, his staff, and students from the RBCI Job-Training Program, "this is a dream come true"!

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia is pleased to announce that "Chef Ralph's Cherry Ave Grill" opened Friday, Sept 20, 2013 at 820 Cherry Avenue here in Charlottesville, VA. 

"Chef Ralph's Place" for short, the Grill will be open from 6AM to 6PM, Monday to Saturday. The focus will be on hot fresh food and good service. For the past few years we have held our ServSafe@ Food Safety Classes in Charlottesville at the Center for Non-Profit Excellence on Allied Street, we are no longer there. We thank the folk at CNE for their kind and gracious hospitality with every month we were there.

However, we are now hosted by Liberty Tax Service, 818 Cherry Ave, Charlottesville, VA, and our new number is 434- 242-9984. Please make a note of it if you are scheduled for one of our up coming classes. We have classes in May scheduled for Monday, May 13, and Thursday, May 16, 2013. Chef Harris is our new Marketing & Sales Associate in the great city of Houston, Tx. She is an excellent Personal Chef with many clients in the Houston area, we are excited about having Chef Harris join our team.
