The Servsafe@ Manager Food Safety Class is a one day class taught by Chef Ralph Brown Sr in Charlottesville every month. After eight hours of class time an online exam is given, and you get the results the same day.

Great Chefs /in good company Jan 2015

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia is proud to announce,  Barrett Early Learning Center & the Executive Chef Brian Alexander at UVa /Newcomb Hall are in "good company"!

Both of these food service establishments have made the same commitment to excellence. Chef Ralph Brown Sr delivered ServSafe@ Food Safety Manager Certificates to them this month.

Thus demonstrating there desire to provide the very best and safest possible food service environment for there clients. Barrett's "historic building" is believed to be the oldest established licensed child care center in Virginia.

"Great beginning" six new students & whipping up something new for 2015

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia announces new ServSafe Certificates www.servsafe.com  were delivered here in Charlottesville and across the Commonwealth in January 2015. From the General Manager and  Deputy GM of the Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg to local vendors in Herndon & Woodbridge, VA.

 We have been very busy, and have a lot more work to complete in this new year. So, if you or your group are in need of Food Safety Training, "just pick a date", (or plan to attend one of our regularly scheduled monthly class), scroll to the bottom of this page and sign up.

 You can come to us or Chef Ralph Brown Sr, who has over ten years experience will gladly come to you. It is a one day eight hour course from 9-5, and the exam is given at the end of the day. You can have your results as soon as the same day, the Certificate takes about two week. So, what are you waiting for, "sign up today"!

"Special Event", for Mr Ice Cream Man / Waynesboro

The Center for faith-based and community learning located in Charlottesville, Virginia would like to congratulate Mr Ice Cream Man in Waynesboro, Va for his success with Truck #2.

On Sat, Sept 27th at the Constitution Park, a special event took place to celebrate his brand new "Food Truck". He put it together with the help of the City of Waynesboro, he was the top prize winner with a check for his business for $7000. Congratulations Marcus!

Marcus is ServSafe@ Certified, it was the first thing on his agenda, taking the course with us after winning the prize money.
